Why do I need a psychotherapist?
When you are feeling stuck, or believe that you can be getting more out of life, work and your relationships. Other people come because they are unable to focus on their daily tasks due to their intense feelings or thoughts. Sometimes your personal relationships are a cause of struggles and intense emotions that hurt both you and your loved one. Sometimes your emotions can prevent you from feeling satisfied with your role as a parent, husband, wife or a friend. Those things can change and improve when working with a therapist.
How long sessions last?
Typical individual sessions last 52 minutes.
Where are sessions held?
Currently sessions are held via Telehealth using Hippa compliant software to protect your privacy.
Do you accept credit cards?
I accept major credit cards along with HSA cards.
How long before any progress?
You should start feeling like you are making progress within five consecutive sessions. Sometimes it might take a little longer to feel safe and comfortable, but you may notice right away if the fit between you and your psychotherapist is not right, and if you feel misunderstood or uneasy. Please address those feelings with your psychotherapist, so you can determine whether those feelings are part of a process or if it is a matter of personal mismatch.
Do you have any success stories?
I have been able to help many clients improve their lives in many ways, but there are many that I wasn’t able to help. I am not a perfect therapist. 🙁 However, you will notice within five sessions if I am right for you.
What insurance do you take?
I currently accept United Behavioral Healthcare, UMR, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am also able to provide you with superbill that you can submit to the insurance company out of network.
